Prince George Chiropractor | Dr. Travis Morgan

My Grandfather told me to be a Chiropractor, I thought he was crazy…

I remember driving around with my Grandpa when I was about 15. He told me I should be a Chiropractor. I ignored him, I was going to be a medical doctor, until my back started to hurt. I had resorted to having someone walk on my back a couple times a day. One day they handed me a card and said they were not going to do it any more until I went to see their chiropractor. I went, I listened, I learned and my back got better. I followed his recommendations and I began to notice something strange. Up until that time I was sick a lot. In fact, I quit wrestling for a year because I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Well I was back on the mat and doing fantastic, tons of energy. I then discovered the connections between the nervous system and the rest of the body. I was hooked. No more medical school I was going to be a Chiropractor.

I was always told God gives you challenges in life; I did not know how right they were until I went to Chiropractic College. I moved to Marietta, GA to attend Life University, College of Chiropractic on September 23, 2001. My mom was terrified, the US was in shock and I still went. Then came the second test, due to political reasons, my school lost its accreditation. I was living in the US on a visa that was to expire in seven days. A legal injunction saved my status, but, I moved to Davenport, IA to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic.

The purpose of Prince George Family Chiropractic is to help people regain and maintain their health. Patients often comment that after working with us they feel better than ever. But, we are not just about pain management. We are about prevention and wellness. We work with people as young as a day to as old as their 90’s. It is never too early or too late to start Chiropractic care. What drives us the most is having families, healthy and active, living better lives through the chiropractic lifestyle. Chiropractic care combined with the wellness lifestyle creates miracles and we see them every day.

I have heard people say they are too blessed to be stressed and I have to agree. I have two great kids, Therin and Isabel. The highlight of my day is hearing them scream “DADDY!!” when I get home. Quintina and I were married on New Years Eve, 2008. We did everything backwards, got the house, then the kids, and last but not least we got married. What do you expect when you meet in the baby isle, but, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Besides spending time with my family, I love to play soccer and have recently started hunting. I can’t say I am very good at the hunting part; the first time I went I forgot my bullets. As the kids grow up I hope to get back into wrestling, from a coaching perspective.

To this day, I get adjusted every two weeks and that forms the base of my health care regiment. I also follow the Paleo Diet, eating only meat, fruit and vegetables. Quintina knows the Paleo Diet inside and out and the kids follow it completely even though they have no idea. Exercise is a regular part of my life; you will notice that the office is closed between Noon and 2:00 p.m., so I can get to the gym. We compete back and forth with the crossfit (www.crossfit.com) program.
