Chiropractic Care

Our Approach

Chiropractic care at Prince George Family Chiropractic is built on the belief that movement is essential for health. When a joint doesn’t move the way it should, it can’t function normally and may place extra stress on the body. Over time, this can affect the spine and the nerves connected to it. By restoring healthy motion, chiropractic adjustments support your body’s ability to function at its best.

What to Expect

Every patient is unique, which is why we begin with a detailed consultation and exam. When necessary, on-site X-rays provide additional insight. Your chiropractor will explain what they find and discuss options for care.

Here, you’ll never be pressured to sign up for lengthy care plans. You decide how much care is right for you, whether that means short-term relief or regular visits to help maintain long-term mobility. We are an adjusting-style clinic, so appointments are focused, efficient, and respectful of your time.

Conditions We Commonly See

People seek chiropractic care for a variety of concerns. Some of the most common ones include:

  • Neck pain
  • Back pain
  • Headaches
  • Pregnancy-related back pain

Athletes may also benefit from improved mobility and recovery. Our clinic works with hockey and football players in Prince George, helping them perform at their best while reducing the risk of future injuries.

Offering an Array of Techniques

Our chiropractors use a range of techniques tailored to each patient. Dr. Morgan often explains chiropractic using the elbow as an example. Just as an elbow needs its full range of motion to stay strong and healthy, so too does the spine.

Dr. Morgan primarily uses the Gonstead method, along with Thompson and Activator® for infants. Dr. Gilmore is known for Diversified care and also incorporates CBP® and Gonstead approaches. Dr. Van Spengen uses a Diversified style, offering a modern approach informed by her recent training.

Explore Shockwave Therapy Options

Shockwave therapy is available at our clinic and is commonly used for concerns such as plantar fasciitis, golfer’s elbow/tennis elbow, and certain shoulder conditions. Using high-energy sound waves that are directed to the affected area, this therapy may help stimulate circulation and support the body’s natural recovery processes.

You don’t have to be a chiropractic patient to access this service. Please note that shockwave therapy is billed separately from chiropractic care.
