The Prince George Family Chiropractic Team

Dr. Shawn Gilmore

I was born and raised in Burnaby, BC. My first experience with chiropractic was when I was 17 years old. I was involved in an automobile accident that resulted in severe low back pain, sometimes so intense that my legs would buckle. After considering surgery my brother convinced me to give chiropractic a try. The chiropractor did an exam, took some x-rays and then “adjusted” my spine. The adjustment didn’t hurt, it actually felt good. I got immediate relief. In fact, my back felt better than I ever remembered it feeling, even before the accident. It worked so well I decided to go to chiropractic school myself.

I earned my Chiropractic degree from Life College West in San Francisco, CA. and graduated with honors in 1995. I have been in full time practice ever since then. I have been entrusted to take care of everyone from tiny babies to athletes and the elderly. Looking back at my 20+ years in practice I am still impressed at the fast results chiropractic care can achieve and am still as excited about my profession as I was when I was 17 years old.

Meet Kaile Richards, RMT

Kaile is a Registered Massage Therapist who has been practicing since 2012. She is an advocate for preventative medicine, and encourages her patients through their rehabilitation process with up-to-date health care information and a customized, ongoing treatment plan. Kaile plans to further her education with courses in visceral manipulation and has a particular interest in pre/post-pregnancy massage since becoming a doula in 2012.

On her days off, Kaile can be found at a park attempting to coax her incredibly lazy dog into playing fetch with her very active toddler.

Meet Judy, Chiropractic Assistant/Office Manager

Judy came to fill in for a leave of absence in 2005, was inspired by the wonders of chiropractic and never left. When not at work Judy enjoys reading and outdoor activities, but best of all spending time with her amazing grandchildren.
