The Prince George Family Chiropractic Team

Dr. K. Travis Morgan

Dr. K. Travis Morgan is a chiropractor, entrepreneur, and community leader with over 20 years of clinical experience. He is the founder and clinic director of Prince George Family Chiropractic Inc, a trusted wellness clinic serving Northern BC since 2005.

Under his guidance, the clinic has grown to include a team of three chiropractors and a registered massage therapist, offering chiropractic care, shockwave therapy, and on-site X-ray services. The clinic is also proud to serve as the Official Chiropractic provider for the Prince George Cougars (WHL) and the Prince George Kodiaks (CJFL).

In addition to his work at the clinic, Dr. Morgan is an active member of the Rotary Club of Prince George, a clinical instructor for the University of Northern BC School of Medicine, and served as a Board Member for the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia from 2020 to 2024.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Morgan is a dedicated husband and father of two. He values family time and enjoys outdoor activities. When not in the office you can probably find him snowmobiling in the northern BC backcountry or on the greens working on his golf game.

Dr. Morgan is committed to providing care that helps families stay active and resilient, while also fostering long-term health and wellness in the Prince George community.

Dr. Mackenzie Van Spengen, DC

Dr. Mackenzie Van Spengen, DC, is proud to be serving her hometown of Prince George as a chiropractor. After completing her Health Sciences degree at UNBC, she went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Her interest in chiropractic care began after experiencing the benefits firsthand while recovering from sports injuries as a volleyball player. Today, she enjoys caring for patients of all ages and has a growing interest in family wellness. Known for her caring and patient-centered approach, Dr. Van Spengen values building connections with her patients and working together toward long-term health. Outside of work, she loves staying active, exploring the outdoors, and enjoying adventures with her puppy by her side.

Dr. Shawn Gilmore

Dr. Shawn Gilmore is a dedicated chiropractor at Prince George Family Chiropractic (PGFC), where he has been providing patient-centered care since 2016. In practice for over three decades, Dr. Gilmore brings extensive experience to helping patients of all ages improve mobility, reduce pain, and live healthier lives through chiropractic care.

Dr. Gilmore’s passion for chiropractic began at age 17 after being injured in an automobile accident that left him with severe low back pain. The pain was so intense at times that his legs would buckle, and surgery was being considered. Encouraged by his brother to try chiropractic, he visited a chiropractor who performed an exam, took X-rays, and delivered an adjustment. To his surprise, the adjustment didn’t hurt—it actually felt good—and he experienced immediate relief. In fact, his back felt better than it ever had, even before the accident. The results were so life-changing that Dr. Gilmore decided to become a chiropractor himself.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gilmore is a passionate golfer whose powerful drives have earned him the nickname “Happy,” a playful reference to the movie character Happy Gilmore. His favorite professional golfer is Rory McIlroy, and at the top of his bucket list is playing TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Beyond golf, Dr. Gilmore is an avid NFL fan and a loyal supporter of the Seattle Seahawks. Whether on the course or cheering for his team on Sundays, he brings the same energy and enthusiasm to his personal passions as he does to his professional practice
